The Brian White Quartet, consists of 4 versatile professional jazz musicians from Jersey in the Channel Islands that specialise in professional performances. Able to perform as an excitingly authentic jazz feature or laying down an atmospheric backdrop of live music. The group play a selection of Bebop, jazz tunes, standards from the American song book, ratpack favourites, original jazz compositions, Latin jazz, bossa nova and romantic ballads.

Our music is ideal music to accompany a wedding reception, cocktail party, garden party or as a musical backing during a sophisticated dinner or just for the thrill of having a live Jazz band to play for you.

The band has performed at many of the Jersey Arts Centre and Jersey Tourism run events and festivals over the past 10 years as well as appearances in the Blue Note jazz bar, Club72, Jersey jazz festival and private performances at wedding receptions, corporate events and balls. The band also has a huge amount of experience working with Jersey's most exclusive wedding venues including Cardington House, Hotel L'Horizon, Radior Manor and Jersey Heritage sites.  

The Brian White Jazz Quartet have been the summer "house jazz band" at the Hotel De France in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and has enjoyed in the past a 1 year residency at the SAS Radisson Hotel, Jersey C.I (Channel Islands). This year the band played along side Clare Teal at the Jersey Liberation music festival at Jazz at Hamptonne.

The Quartet has for the past 4 years been the resident jazz band Jazz @ Roberto's (Savoy Hotel). The band performs every Friday between 7.30 & 10.00, an ideal setting to showcase the band if you are considering hiring us for your wedding reception or event. During this live jazz club set you will be able to see and hear the quartet its live musical environment.

The Brian White Jazz Quartet are a highly profession and motivated group of jazz musicians, all from Jersey in the Channel Islands (C.I.) UK

The usual line up are as follows

Jazz Quartet - Trumpet, Piano, String Bass and Drums

Jazz Trio - Trumpet, Piano and String Bass

Brian White Jazz /Bossa Nova Dueto - Trumpet and Guitar or piano

Vocal Quintet - Male vocal, Trumpet, Piano, String Bass and Drums

 

 

 

Due to the fact that all of the Jazz musicians used are local to Jersey CI (Channel Islands) and that we charge no agent fee, the jazz groups are a highly affordable live music option for any wedding reception, wedding breakfast, Corporate event or a family party, garden party or celeration.

The Brian White Jazz Quartet play from a selection of music that include jazz standards, American songbook standards, ratpack, ballads, Latin jazz, bossa nova, samba, bebop and original jazz compositions. With prior notice almost any tunes can be arranged for any of the groups, be it the a first dance at your wedding reception or a favourite tune at your birthday party.
