The Txt Messengers are a group of versatile musicians that specialise in laying down an atmospheric backdrop of music. The group plays Standards from the American song book, original jazz compositions, Latin jazz, bossa and romantic ballads
Ideal music to accompany a wedding reception, cocktail party or as a backing during a sophisticated dinner or just for the thrill of having a live Jazz band.
The Group can perform as a Trio, Quartet, Quintet or as a Duo (Guitar and muted Trumpet). The Duo option has become a popular choice for wedding ceremonies followed by Trio or Quartet for the reception.
The band has performed at many of the Jersey Arts Centre and Jersey Tourism run events and festivals over the past 8 years as well as appearances in the Blue Note Jazz Bar and private performances at weddings and balls
The Txt Messengers have been the summer "House Band" at the Hotel De France in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and has enjoyed in the past a 1 year residency at the SAS Radisson Hotel.
The Txt Messengers Quartet is currently resident house band at Roberto's Bar at the Savoy Hotel, which involves a series of Friday night sessions, a position held since 2008
